Built-in Fitting to Existing Supply
Available on built-in appliances dishwashers, fridges, freezers, fridge freezers, washing machines, washer dryers and tumble dryers, ovens and hobs. (Electric Only)
Please note that this service is only available when replacing an existing built-in appliance on a like for like basis and we only install to existing connections.
As part of this service, we will:
- Unpack your new product
- Remove transit bolts of appliance (Washing machines, Washer dryers)
- Remove the plinths and panel door of your old appliance
- Cap appliance hot water tap (If previous appliance is hot cold fill. Washing machines/Washer Dryers)
- Do any basic joinery work required (e.g. drilling holes, cutting work top for a bigger hob) NOTE: We Only fit hobs to standard laminate worktops
- Connect the new appliance to existing pipe work or electric supply
- Level and fit neatly in the space (Pending satisfactory condition of adjacent units)
- Fit the existing panel door to the new appliance
- The existing panel door is in a suitable condition to be re-fitted.
- Your new appliance will fit into the existing housing
- There is easy access to the existing pipe work
- Your stop valves are working correctly (For connection of any wet appliance)
- There is sufficient access for ventilation tubes (tumble dryers)
- Ensure there is no Gas pipes obstructing the appliance (If you have a gas hob above an electric oven, please tell us beforehand)
- Make any alterations to existing plumbing or electrical connections.
- Connect the appliance if it puts the fitter or customer at risk.
- Connect the appliance if it does not meet safety guidelines
- Make any alterations to stone or tile worktops
ADDITIONAL WORK WITHIN OUR ABILITY WILL BE SPECIFIED TO YOU AT THE TIME AND CHARGED ACCORDINGLY.
IF AN INSTALLATION IS NOT FEASABLE, YOUR FEE WILL BE REFUNDED OR DISCUSSED TO YOU BY MUTUAL AGREEMENT
