In the unlikely event of your product malfunctioning;
Pictures and product descriptions are for illustrative purposes only, there may be minor differences in actual products but this will be rare and we endeavour all effort in preventing this occurring. Should you receive your appliance and you are not satisfied with it based on this reason, we will happily exchange or refund your purchase.
We will connect the appliance to an existing installation (plumbing,drain,power point in place) at the cost stated on the option list. Should there be a problem with your installation i.e 'a corroded tap that leaks' , we will advise you from there and to contact an appropriate tradesperson.
The recycle option if selected is a logistics charge From your property and To the appropriate recycling facility. If you buy more than one appliance, only one charge is needed for recycling. Please mention additional appliances on the notes page during the checkout process. Delivery: Delivery times can vary depending on area, usually your appliance will be delivered within the week, in some cases the same day if we receive your order early enough. Should you have special requirements and require immediate attention, please call the shop and let us know. Timescale of delivery is Monday - Friday between 10.00am and 5.30pm Payment and Refund: You may cancel your contract with us for the goods you order at any time up to the end of the Fourteenth working day from the date you receive the ordered goods. You do not need to give any reason for cancelling your contract, although it would be appreciated if a reason was provided, and will not have to pay a penalty.
Pricing Errors Should a product be listed with an incorrect price, either due to a typographical error or as a result of an error in pricing information given to us by either a manufacturer or supplier, we have the right to refuse or cancel the order. We will inform you of this error and offer you the option to cancel the order. Should your credit card have been debited before the error has been noted we will immediately refund all monies to the value of the incorrect price and delivery charges where applicable. Each year in the UK we go throw away over 1.2 million tonnes of electrical and electronic waste. That is the equivalent of 150 thousand double decker buses!
This increase is mainly down to:
Over 75% of waste electrical goods end up in landfill, where lead and other toxins contained in the electrical goods can cause soil and water contamination.
This can have a very harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health. When situated near populated areas these toxins can cause problems to communities as their water and soil is polluted.
Many of the electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending waste electrical goods to landfill.
To minimise our impact on this earth and to protect the environment for future generations it is important that we are all aware of the consequences of our actions and how we can make a difference.
This is a lot of electrical waste! So to reduce the amount of electrical items going to landfill the government has introduced some new regulations called
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations.
UNDER THE WEEE REGULATIONS, APPLIANCE TOWN ARE PLEASED TO OFFER A FREE INSTORE TAKE BACK SERVICE OF WEEE ON A LIKE FOR LIKE BASIS WHEN YOU MAKE A NEW PURCHASE FROM US.
Should you ask us to take the appliance from your property; a logistics charge will apply.
